Hire Fleet Managers - Bunbury & Oxford Base
Report to: Operations Manager
Functional Reporting: All directors/department heads
Hours of Work: 40 hours per week including weekends, Bank Holidays and the call-out rota.
Holiday Entitlement: 25 days per annum plus Bank Holidays.
Key Responsibilities: Efficiently run and manage the base and maintain all hire boats.
Salary: From £16,500 + depending on experience
Specific Responsibilities:
- Maintain and operate the Anglo Welsh hire fleet.
- Manage all aspects of staffing within the base, including recruitment under supervision of the Operations Manager.
- Organise and manage the base expenditure within budget.
- Promote and organise additional private work.
- Order all spares and stock for the hire fleet including diesel and gas.
- Ensure a continuous breakdown cover service is in place.
- Ensure a high level of customer service is maintained within the base.
- Ensure standards of Health & Safety are maintained and built upon.
- Be pro-active towards and responsible for on-going training for all members of staff.
- Maintain the base at all times creating a safe and welcoming environment.
- To represent your base at all Managers’ Meeting.
- Oversee the retail operation at the base
- Maintain an efficient and cost effective system for docking.
- To organise 'in-house' and local advertising.

Hire Fleet Engineer - Bunbury
Report to: Base Manager
Hours of Work: 40 hours per week including weekends, Bank Holidays and the call-out rota.
Holiday Entitlement: 20 days per annum plus statutory Bank Holidays
Salary: From £12,000 -£14,500 depending on experience
Responsibilities
Knowledge of all boat systems would be an advantage, the workload is varied and includes turnrounds, showrounds, call-outs and after hours breakdown cover (on rota).

Assist in the operation of an efficient and customer friendly hire fleet base.

Participate in a call-out rota to supply a 24-hour emergency assistance to all customers.

Undergo training in new skills and products

Advise of new and replacement engineering stock requirements.

Carry out a schedule of maintenance of servicing.

Ensure that boats are serviced, checked, to the highest standards on turn- round days.

Ensure "standing" boats are serviced and available for immediate hire, hulls are blackened and paintwork "touched up".

Constantly maintain the base in a clean, tidy and safe condition.

Be prepared to work at alternative bases, should the need arise.
