Housekeeper / Administrator - Oxford

Report to: Base Manager

Hours of Work: 24 hours per week including weekends and Bank Holidays.

Salary: From £7,500 depending on experience

Responsibilities: Implementing and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation on a fleet of narrow boats for hire on the River Thames.

Duties are varied and include ordering and monitoring stock levels, basic administration, dealing with customers and answering the phone.

A full driving license would be an advantage but not essential.

Hire Fleet Engineer - Bunbury

Report to: Base Manager

Hours of Work: 40 hours per week including weekends, Bank Holidays and the call-out rota.

Holiday Entitlement: 20 days per annum plus statutory Bank Holidays

Salary: From £12,000 -£14,500 depending on experience

Responsibilities:

Knowledge of all boat systems would be an advantage, the workload is varied and includes turnrounds, showrounds, call-outs and after hours breakdown cover (on rota).

• Assist in the operation of an efficient and customer friendly hire fleet base.

• Participate in a call-out rota to supply a 24-hour emergency assistance to all customers.

• Undergo training in new skills and products

• Advise of new and replacement engineering stock requirements.

• Carry out a schedule of maintenance of servicing.

• Ensure that boats are serviced, checked, to the highest standards on turn- round days.

• Ensure "standing" boats are serviced and available for immediate hire, hulls are blackened and paintwork "touched up".

• Constantly maintain the base in a clean, tidy and safe condition.

• Be prepared to work at alternative bases, should the need arise.
