Perched on the crossroads of the Staffs & Worcs, and the Trent & Mersey Canals, this base has a truly enviable location for routes
and canalside attractions.

Head north on the Trent & Mersey and join the Caldon Canal, cruising through to Froghall where Alton Towers Theme Park is a 15 minute bus ride away. Drayton Manor Park and Waterworld are both within two-days cruising from the base and you can moor-up right outside the gates!

As well as access to four of the major Rings, the area abounds with stately homes, castles, gardens and pretty villages to take time-out and explore. Also worth exploring are the many canalside watering holes no trendy winebars here! characterful Pubs full of characters!!!
