Fair fuel costs

All our narrowboats start with a tank full of fuel – plenty to cover a steady two week canal boat cruise. You pay a fuel deposit when you book your boating holiday, which starts at £70 for a short break, £110 for a week.

When you bring the narrowboat back to us the balance of the deposit is refundable after deducting the fuel used. If you have used fuel in excess of the deposit, you will be asked to pay the difference.

Rewarding our regular customers

Our loyalty scheme, which includes short breaks as well as week-long holidays, offers discounts, based on the number of years you have cruised with us. It’s calculated as a discount off your holiday price once one of our other money saving offers has been applied.

Loyalty bonus for 2025 holidays

One year…2% reduction to a maximum of £40
Two years…4% reduction to a maximum of £80
Three years…6% reduction to a maximum of £120
Four years…8% reduction to a maximum of £150
Five years…10% reduction to a maximum of £190

Please note: The Loyalty Bonus is calculated on the net discount holiday price.
