Our canal boat rental base at Bunbury on the Shropshire Union Canal near Tarporley is surrounded by glorious Cheshire countryside.
Head north from Bunbury and you can reach the ancient City of Chester in around seven hours. Other short break destinations from Bunbury include the National Waterways Museum Ellesmere Port, the Anderton Boat Lift and Whitchurch.
Week-long destinations include Llangollen, Macclesfield and the Caldon Canal. On longer breaks, you can complete the Cheshire Ring or Four Counties Ring from Bunbury.
