Canal boat day hire
Perfect days out for birthday treats, celebrations, friends and family get-togethers, team building and educational trips.
Tuition is included so hiring a day boat for the day is a great way to learn how to steer a narrowboat, work the locks and moor up. You can share the experience with family and friends, or celebrate a special occasion.
We have day boats at our Trevor, Whixall, Bunbury, Wootton Wawen, Great Haywood and Bradford on Avon bases. Prices start at just £10 per person.
All boats are equipped with everything you need for a leisurely day afloat, including a fridge and a toilet.
The maximum party size per boat is 10. Cruising hours during the season are from 9am to 4pm.

Alcohol – a sad but necessary warning
Whilst we want everyone to enjoy their day boat cruise, our primary concern is for your health and safety, and that of others on the waterway.
As such, the Base Staff will not allow excessive amounts of alcohol to be taken aboard the boats and will decline to handover any boat where they feel this may be an issue. This would result in you forfeiting your booking payment.
Equally, if any boat crew is reported causing disruption on the waterway due to unruly behaviour, the crew will be escorted from the boat and all payments and security deposits will be forfeited. The crew would also be reported to the waterway authorities, which could result in prosecution.
